Privacy and security

  • No accounts. You never sign up or sign in to Quartermaster.
  • No tracking, analytics or telemetry. Quartermaster is purely a client with no server behind it. Nothing about your stack is sent to us or anyone else.
  • No cloud middleman. After setup, the app talks to your servers directly.
  • Keys stay on your device, in the iOS Keychain, never in unencrypted app storage. Keys are also removed from all diagnostic logs.
  • The optional push relay only stores your device's push token, never your keys, URLs or library data. See Alerts.
  • Demo mode runs entirely on your device, with no network calls.
  • iCloud Sync is protected by a passphrase you set. See Sync and backups.
